Q.

Hello Doctor. My son is 4 months old and his weight gain is at slow rate. He is 5.7 kgs now and his birth weight was 3.08 kgs. He is feeding well but looks skinny. Do I need to introduce formula milk for him?

Hi mom Give adequate feeding every two hours of intervals Burp well after every feeding Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation Maintain hydration Maintain hygiene Try to keep head up position while feeding Take healthy protein rich nutritious food fruits vegetables etc to increase your milk supply
