hello doctor.. my son is 3 year old from 2 days he is having fever and cough... yesterday we checked with doctor he suggested paracetamol ( Meftagesic-P) and antibiotic Taxim-O dry syrup... yesterday have given one dose but in the night and morning he is having fever...

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician1 month agoA. please give it in right dose. you may also do tepid sponging with room temp water to bring down temp. give lots of liquids and rest to your child. ok.

Fever takes at least 72 hours to subside completely and it is the nature of fever to repeat every six hours other than that you are suggested with antibiotic also which means your child is having an infection you’ll have to have patience for the infection to subside and fever to reduce
