hello doctor, my son is 1 year 10 months old, As from yesterday he has an decentry of potty 3 times in day. along with fever 100.2 at night his body getting complete temp. after visited doctor, has given meniftol p, gudcef, and histafree. but not reduced still it same. given colpol 250 . plz suggest need to consult dr again

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
cold spongirrng of the whole body with tap water cran be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
