Hello doctor my son has a tonsils last two years he gets fever and cold twice a month we consulted a doctor now they are saying he has a adenoid also they are suggesting to a surgery. so need your advice shall we do surgery or it will cure with time

If it is an enlarged adenoids then yes it is better to go for surgery if it is grade 3 or four the doctors usually advised surgery because during this time the growth of the child does not take proper place as it is meant to be but with the surgery things will help better but don’t go with what anybody has to say please take second and third opinion and then you decide you have to be mentally very sure about it because Care after the surgeryis very important and takes a lot of effort
