Q.

hello doctor my son had a cold cough since one week but from ystday daily he is suffering from fever only in night that to his forehead is getting to hot what to do

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful vg. Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symgptoms .h Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. If the fever is there like 99°F or more than that that it is the temperature you can give Calpol to the child but if it has been happening every day it’s important for you to have a physical evaluation with your doctor one time
