hello doctor, My son (2.5 years old) is having severe ear pain with fever. what can I give him?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. if you see that the child is having ear pain you will have to give painkiller that is paracetamol
which will help in decreasing the pain for now and then meet your doctor to find the cause of ear pain
because it can bex due to infection as well as cough and cold

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. You can either use a heating pad or an ice pack to soothe the ear pain of your child. Hot and cold compressions are very safe for children. The best way of relieving pain is to use alternate methods of compressions with a gap of approximately 10 minutes in between. However, if your kid is uncomfortable with either of the compression, you may use the one which your kid finds comfortable.
