Hello doctor. my son 2 1/2 months old.why hasn't my baby pooped for 6 days??is it normal for 3months old baby not to poop every day??how long can a baby go without pooping??He is so active

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician2 years agoA. its fine only No problem if baby is passing adequate urine. If baby is active and playful, no fever, passing adequate urine ie. minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion ( once in 7 days or 15 times per day- both conditions normal.

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and yes it is normal and sometimes baby do not poop for 8-10 days and please massage on baby stomach clockwise and anti clockwise and also apply hing water paste on baby stomach as due to it baby sometime get colic problem. Take care
