Hello doctor my son 19 months old he is having fever it’s been 4 days I’m giving him MEFTAL-P my doctor said me to give after checking him, fever is down after giving him this medicine for 4 to 5 hours again fever comes up . What can be done? His motions are good no cough or cold, he is eating and sleeping well but too active. Why fever is not down?

A. can be it's, viral fever.. keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. And give paracetamol drops / syp in proper dose. Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately.
