Q.

Hello doctor my niece is one month old and she is born with ovarian cyst in her right ovary.. doctor suggested surgery nd remove her ovary.. wannt to know what will be the outcomes after surgery ..is there any matter of concern if they remove her ovary how soon she will recover

A. What kind of ovarian cyst does the baby have and what exactly is the size of the cyst? Is it a complex cyst? If yes then it might require removal and also we have to know if the cyst is within the ovary only or if it is beside it.Depending upon the type of cyst the ovary will be retained or removed.If it is only one ovary then you need not worryWrite Your Answer Here

A. uninocular cyst , 9 cm size baby is one month old
