Hello doctor, my nephew is 4 months old. He is very irritated today. Is in this age teething occurs or not?

teething phase can start as early as 4-6 months..
kids feel irritated during teething phase due to itching in the gums caused by the erupting teeth.. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip to facilitate the eruption process of teeth

Yes It can happen after the age of three months at any point of time so your child is four months so I believe this is the reason which is why your child is so much irritated keep the gums of your child completely clean with a soft wet cloth and if you need to then you can consult a dentist as well
