Hello Doctor, My girl baby is 15 monyhs old we recently came to know that she has tongue tie. how to treat and when to treat? Is this a right age for surgery and giving general anasthesia in this age is safe?

She is not eating properly prefers only liquid food I feel its because of tongue tie. Does it cause eating problem?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. it is not emergency surgery you can wait consult doctor no problem taking anaesthesia there are experiences paediatric anaesthetic available who can you anaesthesia given to one month baby also
