hello doctor my five year old son is having temperature of 102 degree and he is also complaining of head pain is it normal

A. headache is due to fever. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. after giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere

A. Sometimes you do heavy fever this kind of a problem can be seen of headache so you can give paracetamol to the child which is what is going to be helpful in reduction of fever as well as the stomach pain that your child is facing as of to be seen during the time of fever
