Q.

Hello Doctor My daughter is currently 3 months old and she has gastric problem which is not a permanent full day one but it's likely twice or thrice a day that she cries so much that she is uncontrollable. We are already giving colicad and flatuna drops for her stomach issues. Would be grateful for your suggestion.

A. your child is having colic which is causing such behaviour. Colic is quite common in children before 6 months of age. The usually start after 3 weeks of age. You can give drops gastica or colicaid to the child 0.5 ml if the child is crying for more than 15 toc 20 minutes due to colic pain. Limb cycling movements as well as tummy time will help. To prevent colic painx kindly do burping for 15 to 20 minutes after every feed and do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because all thec gas is not removed after one burping.
