Q.

Hello doctor, My daughter is about to be 9 months old though,I was was giving her all vaccines as per doctor prescribed and from private.Now I have not taken her for 8 months vaccines, because now I want to provide her vaccines from government. It will be any problem? Doctor kindly suggest.

A. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vraccine before as per the schedule then also you should give this vaccidne on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine. For polio vaccine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .

A. hi parent it is ok please add your child details on vaccination tracker available on firstcry application so you can get all information regarding your child upcoming vaccination
