Q.

hello doctor, my daughter is 9 month old .she is having cold cough since 7 days. can her 9th month vaccine be given to her.

A. yes simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is aaa advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. Get I don’t later when your child is completely fine at this time even the doctors are not going to advise you to go ahead with the vaccination because when the child is not healthy completely doctors do not recommend to get the vaccination done
