Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. birthmarks are very common in children and usually fade by one to maximum 2 years of age.
if they are not increasing in intensity and number then there is no need to worry.
you can consult your doctor who will tell you regarding the birthmark and any complications if any which may be associated with it.
kindly apply moisturizing lotion (atogla / cetaphil / physiogel / oilatum) or virgin coconut oil on the skin of the child 4 to 5 times per day and if the przoblem still continues for more than two weeks then meet your doctor.
do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which is causing allezrgy on the skin.
