Q.

Hello Doctor.. my daughter is 54 days old. she got her vaccination on 7th July and she is down with fever of 37.2 degree Celsius. We have given her colpol drops. there is some redness on her leg which is causing pain to her. can we apply thrombophob ointment. If not, please suggest something else.

A. Yes cN apply when fever comes after vaccination you can give Paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain and Paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and you can also apply ice over the injection site and if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel

A. film of pain fever and swelling is quite normal after the vaccination in the way with which will take at least two days to get better to yours definitely you can give medication like Paracetamol and you can even applied thromophobe you can even apply ghee on it
