Hello doctor , my daughter is 4 year old she often develop cough when ever she eat chocolate or biscuit which based on sugar and chocolate. I usually avoid junk food for her. Does chocolate causes cough?

A. Hi mom, ideally chocolate has mo connection with cough. if she likes chocolate give her only little. you can give as a dip as well with nuts or fruits etc. Avoid daily consumption on chocolate as well.
