Q.

Hello doctor . my daughter is 4.6 yrs old .she has nose congestion and by mistake I have given 2 drops of sinomet nasal drop instead of nasivion. just once it happened .is there any serious issue. i am very worried, please answer

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examinationgu. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold g In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. No it’s okay if your child is not showing you any kind of discomfort don’t worry about it sometimes these things can happen but now if your child is comfortable not showing any kind of discomfort or anything that is odd to you then don’t worry about it
