hello doctor my daughter is 1yrs 5 months... earlier she use to speak nana ,Nani ,MAA and papa..but now she rearely speak mama and papa...I took her to doctor and they said she have tough tie...also told she will take time to talk...my concern is should I refer to another doctor for double check up...also plz advice if there is any yoga or excercise..which will help her to talk early. also plz advice if the operation is required in this case.

A. Tongue tie might cause a bit of a slurring of the speech depending upon the degree of severity. But the baby should not have any difficulty in remembering words. Definitely go for a second opinionWrite Your Answer Here
