Q.

Hello Doctor! My daughter is 19 months old now. We have observed that since a month she has started with tongue thrusting frequently while playing or when she is active. When we ask her not to do so, immediately she pulls her tongue inside. She speaks few words and communicates.Otherwise, she is always active, interacts and is eating as well. Is there anything to worry about it?

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It is common behaviour in kids and will go away as the baby grows up. It might be due to teething in the baby. Please give homeopathic medicine BC21 to the baby. Also massage baby gums with clean cotton cloth. Please give eggs and chicken to the baby. Also give chicken soup to the baby. Please give banana shake and ragi porrige to the baby. Please give lots of green vegetables and dairy products and soaked almonds to the baby on daily basis. Please limit soda and juices and high fat foods like chips or biscuits or cakes etc. Thanks and take care
