#AskTheExperts hello doctor, My baby underwent circumcision surgery on Monday so his pediatrician suggested not to use diapers or any cloth until a week so my question is how many days it takes wound to heel up and from Wen I can use diapers

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician7 years agoA. Its a very minor surgery It will take 3 -4 days to heal Avoit to use diaper for 4 -5 days keep ur baby well hydrated Continue to give feed as per demand

Aieswarya RajendrakumarMom of a 8 yr 2 m old boy7 years agoA. hello there, after the procedure apply 'drez' powder on the wound area nd avoud any contact with water. some puss formation will be there, but dont rub it wit any cloth instead dust drez powder untill the area is dry.apply some powder on the sides of the thigh so that it does not stick. most probably wound should dry within 10 days, after which yu can use a nappy. until yu can lay yur baby on dry sheets and use soft mulmul cloth to jus cover the area softly.
