Q.

Hello doctor, my baby's age is 5 months 4 days, now he drinks formula milk 4 times in a day. but from few days sometimes he does yellow urine .. is there anything to worry??

A. Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods which can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formgrula milk. initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

A. The Colour of urine can vary from transparent light yellow to dark yellow but it really doesn’t make a difference most of the times if it is completely dark yellow then that’s due to dehydration in the body it could be a sign like that so I think you should feed your child more often that way
