hello doctor my baby is worried about cold between throat and nose after i have a antibiotics but there is no use can you please help..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic andgy expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you can go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger Honey (Add honey if child is more than 1 year of age) combination which can be diluted with water and given frequently to the child.
also u can give turmeric with warm milk one or two times everyday.
give warm water to drink as well as nasal saline drops frequently.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child that is from hot to cold and cold to hot environment.
Keep the child well covered.
