Q.

Hello doctor, My baby is one year two months old and very reluctant to drink milk. kindly suggest the alternatives and is milk is important and mandatory diet for the baby

A. the thing is that after one year of age you can go for any type of milk for the child and it can be either formula milk or packet milk or powder milk or animal milk that is either buffalo milk or cow's milk for your child. initially you will have to offer outside milk in small quantity and if the child is tolerating that amount then gradually you can increase the quantity of milk but if the child is not tolerating then kindly change the type of milk you are giving product like paneer and curd lassi can also be given

A. Hi You give another rich dairy products to the child if the child is not interested in having milk on the other side just to see if your child is fond of having fruits or something because you can make fruit smoothies fruit milkshake so try to incorporate stuff in the milk to make it much more tastier and healthier at the same time
