Hello doctor,my baby is having a boil on the right side of head since two days .He is 2yrs 3 months old .He is not allowing me to touch it as it is painful.please guide.

A. this is a pustular swelling. there is pus accumulated beneath the swelling. there is a possibility that you may require santibiotics to decrease the infection which has caused formation of pus. so kindly visit thze doctor. for pain you can give paracetamol as well as ibugesic if needed. if the swelling burst and pus comes out you can apply t bact cream
