Hello doctor My baby is completed 5th we did ear piercing 5 days back , he is having pain , he is crying for pain Can you please recommend any cream or remedies for pain and cure

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Apply very little betadine ointment you can apply it with a bud on the area but in small quantity as it will dry the wound quickly and if still baby is crying then consult your Paediatrician

GayatriMom of a 3 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. You can apply turmeric powder infused coconut oil. Heat the oil to warm temperature and apply with a cotton buds. Apply the oil regularly whenever you feel the area is dry. And keep rotating earrings slightly to avoid blocking of piercing. This pain will reduce slowly within a week.

Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
