Q.

Hello Doctor..My baby is 8 months old..he is suffering from cold since 5 days..i have consulted pediatrician..they gave brozeet syrup, sinarest-AF drops and nasal solution..but no improvements i found..his nose is blocking with thick sniveling and can't breathe properly pls suggest something

A. you are using appropriate medicines for cold and cough in addition to this give steam inhalation Cold and cough are viral infections in the baby generally they will take at least one week to subside

A. Use nasal drops for the child 3-4 times in a day It will help in opening of the nose blockage for the child and your child will be able to breathe easily apart from that you can give indirect steam to your child at least twice a day for 10 minutes each that is also going to help
