hello doctor my baby is 8 months old he is not taking any kind of food

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of 2 children4 years agoA. At this stage, if baby is resisting foods there could be possibly two main reasons- Teething and Constipation.
Look for symptoms like excessive drooling, mild fever, loose motions and irritation in gums which implies teething. Massage the gums with a clean finger or cotton cloth and give a chilled teether to chew on to soothe the gums.
If baby is not passing stool regularly or having difficulty in doing it, then give fiber rich foods like beans, broccoli, peas, oats, apple and prune juice. Massage the stomach in circular motion and move legs in cycling rotation.
