Hello doctor, my baby is 8 months old and is suffering from heavy cold from last two days! have give nasal saline drop but it is still running? kindly suggest any other medications that can be given?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. no drops won't be sufficient. Cold and cough is due to seasonal change and is of viral and is common .
Safest to give indirect steam inhalation for nasal block and also protect baby with wollens clothes . Can put nasivion / saline drops . Take flu vaccine yearly for protection from flu after six mnths of age . Nebulization can be done by doctor advise . See a doctor if fever or discomfort .
