Hello doctor, My baby is 8 month old, and I am covid positive. can I keep my baby with me. and please let me know the sign n symptoms of covid in babies.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. according to the symptoms of the baby it is advised to get a proper physical examination done which would be helpful for the doctor to to find out the the treatment for further management consult dr. in the current situation you should give a healthy diet to the children maintain a good hydgiene also give vitamin c and zinc supplement suggested by the doctor and avoid exposure of children outside

The symptoms in babies are seen as in adults. You have to wear double mask continuously whenever you are near to your baby. And before carrying your baby you have to clean your hands properly with sanitiser. These are the only precautions you have to take to keep your baby safe. If you are taking any antibiotics then you should not feed your baby and start giving formula milk
