hello doctor..my baby is 5.5 months old..he feeds nly fr 2-3mins then he is refusing to take feed..and playing fr two hrs without asking fr feed..im worried much..is that short feed is enough fr his health..plz suggest hw to make him..feed priperly..plz help

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. try it to feed in quiet and dark room to avoid distraction. make a routine. if baby seems fine.. passing pee and poop regularly then there's nothing to worry about

See You only mentioned that your child is full for about two hours and your child is active and playing happily that means that three minutes feed your child is getting sufficient feed and do that much time because you know the latching speed also becomes better and maybe the flow of the feed from your breast is also good
