hello doctor my baby is 4month and 6days now, can i give him little quantity of banana shake ? he is on formula milk. he is a pre term baby of 34 weeks and 5 day. please reply thank you!

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Not advisable before 6 months completion. For the first 6 months the baby should be either exclusively breastfed or formula fed only. Both breastmilk and formula milk will suffice the hydration and nutrition requirements of your baby. Semi solids can be given only after 6 months completion. Good luck and take care.
