Q.

Hello doctor, my baby is 4 months old she is not demand feeding…if i leave her for 4-5 hours she wont ask for milk…i feed her formula milk but she only drinks 40-50 ml in 3 hours…is it ok? And at night she wants to sleep and she dosnt want to drink little milk also.. what should i do ? Is this normal ?

A. That’s not correct it should be at least 90 ML and one feeding every three hours if not less than that or not more than that so you feed your child with a gap of three hours with 90 ML minimum milk otherwise the weight gain is going to get affected
