hello doctor.. my baby is 4 months old and today just seen mucus in her stool. today we have given Little bit of rice and honey. Is it because of solid or any other problem?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. first of all do not give rice n honey at this age. no advantage to start giving early.. Sometimes the mucus is part of a normal process. Babies who are breastfed may be more likely to have mucus in their poop ..which is normal. Other times, it can be a sign of an underlying infection or medical condition that can cause mucus in stool, including infections, allergies, and more.

Hi mommy It’s all normal and common No need to worry Do tummy time and cycyling movement of legs regularly Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes Diet
