Q.

hello doctor my baby is 3years 5months old still he can't talk properly.. just he il say black, mummy, papa, like this words i am worry about him is there any issue

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult hyour docnjtor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. Hello good evening !! As baby is 3+ years old have to talk small sentences atleast 3 words. Check if baby responding to your commands, giving eye contact, recognizing colours. Consult Paeditrician (developmental pediatrician) /speech therapist. Avoid screen time , spend more time with baby than usual talk, repeat words so that he can
