Hello doctor my baby is 38 days old and he vomits as soon as he drinks milk. A doctor has said that my milk is not digested by him. Please tell me what should I include in my diet so that

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. I consulted the doctor but people say that it is normal but my baby does not drink so much milk and expels so much. Repeatedly removes not once but two or three times. One drink of milk.That's why I feel tense when it takes out all the milk, whether there is anything more in its stomach or not.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. that is very normal that small children after taking breastfeeding will regurgitate small amount of milk.
if the amount of milk is less than 10 ml no need to worry.
this curd like milk is normal and no treatment is required.
but if the quantity of milk is more than you have to rule out any gastric problem the child might be having.
you can decrease the the regurgitation by giving more burping time to the child.
also due to common pathway at at the back between nasal cavity and the oral cavity the milk can come out through the nasal cavity also during the regurgitation and vomiting which is normal
meet your dr if vomiting is in large quantity and happening again and again

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Eat easily digestible homemade healthy foods and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Burp the baby after every feed. Use Babyhug tummy roll on.
