Hello doctor, my baby is 3 months and 25 days old ..i found this while cleaning his ears and it smells..is it an ear infection?? please guide us

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Ear should be only cleaned superficially very gently by an ear bud when the baby is sleeping. Dof not try to clean deep inside by yourself as it can cause injury so consult your doctor for fthat . if the wax is impacted you can use waxiklin ear drops one drop twice a day for 7 days in ear it will help .

It looks more like a deer wax to be not an infection had it be rain in infection your child would it have said so quietly your child would have cried cried and cried and would have actually scratch completely do that area to tell you that there is a trouble 8 to that area but as we cannot be sure about anything it would be more sensible for you to words can you check with ENT doctor at least you’ll be sure about itWrite Your Answer Here
