Hello doctor My baby is 3 months 26 days old….. baby is not drinking milk like before months… baby is sucking jst for 5 -6 mins and going into sleep or else starts sucking the thumb. Baby started the habit of thumb sucking. I’m worried about the baby. Does the baby is getting enough milk or not. I can see there is no weigh gain this month.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. do not worry about the thumb sucking in the baby it is not habit at this age generally requirement of milk depends on the growth which is fast in first three months of age if baby is passing urine adequately do not worry

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl2 years agoA. hi mam,as far as your child is happy and active, gains enough weight (250 to 500g ) per Month, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day then no need to worry
