Hello doctor...My baby is 23 months old now..He is absolutely fine but some times he is having bad breath like I mean unpleasant odour of his mouth...Can you give any suggestions for that...

Cough and Cold should be ideally treated only after a proper clinical examination by a doctor.it may be any infective or allergic.it is not so related to food items like banana etc.but seasonal changes may aggravate. if with fever too ,calpol can be given three times a day.give steam and nasoclear drops can also be used multiple times. Cough Syrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .medication by self is not advisable. if the cough is productive you can give kufril-ls syrup fornd now .avoid refrigerated items and give only simple home-made preparations as required.child will gradually begin to eat as symptoms resolve.at times coughing may take more time to resolve.
