Q.

hello doctor my baby is 2 months old i breastfed him all the time. only when he gets very cranky i give him 30 ml of formula ( hardly once a day) , can i know how much a baby consumes per feed? He has gained 800gms for 3 weeks. will it affect it anyway if i stop the formula?

A. around 60-90 ml per intake.. maintain a feeding gap of around 2 hrs.. always burp after feed don't immediately put the baby on bed after feed. babies gain around 500-800 g per month and should double the birth weight at completing 4 to 6 and three times the birth weight at completing one year
