hello doctor,my baby is 2 months old.he had a cold and light cough.is it ok for 3 month vaccine?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to betd treated with anti allergic and rexpectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

if she has light feverish or she has cold then you may postpone or delay the said vaccination
as after it x she might have pain lump or fever
so you may delay it for about week
