Q.

Hello doctor... my baby is 2.5,yrs old..bt still she have a practice of breastfeeding..though its only during night time... bt sometimes she used to feed overnight... in this situation,can i take covid 19 vaccine!? i m trying many methods to stop her practice..bt all failed..i m still trying.. what i will do in this situation... plz reply.. thanks in adv...

A. Hello, your baby girl is 2.5 years old and she is taking breast feeding still now it’s not advisable at all so keep her away from you at day times and at night times give her an apetizer like cypon 5 ml so that she will eat more and sleep overnight

A. yes you can take vaccination as per a paediatric view as per the Government of India they are not recommending vaccination for lactating mothers but there are very good number of studies which suggest that lactating mothers can take the vaccination so the end decision will be yours and you can discuss this with your doctor
