hello doctor, my baby is 1year 2months old just now I observed that his head and stomach is having High temperature at that time he was sleeping now he woke up and playing but still having High temperature at head and stomach I give him maxtra p oral syrup 1ml kindly suggest what to do I will take him to the doctor in the morning but what should I do now

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .please consult your doctor for this then only the correct diagnosis and treatment suggestion is possible after clinical examination and knowindg completge history. its very difficult to comment here .
