Q.
Hello Doctor, my baby is 1 and half years olds and suffering from cold and cough? Kindly advice any home remedies for cough?

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . coutgh needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a propegr evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl2 years agoA. Ginger juice and honey mixture can be given to the child voice or thrice in a day and apart from that also I would recommend you that you should consult the doctor as well for a proper medication
