Hello Doctor, My baby is 1.5 months old he has stopped burping past 1 week even though putting him on shoulder for 10-15 mins he won't burp. He vomits sometimes. Plz suggest what to do?

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. don't worry give only breastmilk till completion of six months. feed in upright position and hold baby in upright position for half an hour then put him to sleep. give colicaid drops thrice a day

Its Completely okay do not worry about it because if you are trying to give a burp to your child you are holding your child at least for 10 to 15 minutes on the shoulder that’s good enough to go for a little bit of vomiting every day is completely normal that’s a part of the growth
