Q.

Hello Doctor, My baby has a habit of sleeping in my lap whenever he takes a day time nap but night he sleeps on bed we tried all possible alternatives but it isn’t helpful and whenever he sleeps he cries and then falls asleep can you pls help me with these issues. Thank you

A. basically you have developed such type of conditioning in him . try to sleep him on bed at day time. just hold his hands. you can use a CD of white nois

A. better to slowly start keeping on bed or firm flat mattress so baby gets used to it. maintain calm environment, put a hand on your baby. so baby feels assured and secure it might take time , but do it as early as possible

A. It's normal at this age group No need to worry for that Feed ur baby properly before sleep Put a good quality diaper Switch off light or dim light helpful while sleeping at night. Be with ur baby while sleeping Sing a song or lori Let ur baby sleep himself /herself Have some patience. Don't worry.

A. cover the baby with small pillows in babies right and left side. and place the baby's hand to hold on it. he feels safe and comfortable to start sleep

A. hello doctor my son is 2 yrs 4monts old.he has habit of sleeping on my lap in day and night time and I have to roam around by keeping him on my lap..whenever I put him on bed he starts crying nd screaming..plz help on it..now it started affect my health also...

A. Sometimes Bouncer helps too. Just make sure you are watching her till she falls asleep and the transfer her to the bed... Always follow one routine only don't change frequently .. untill baby not set on one routine..
