Hello Doctor, My baby had 6weeks vaccine. As per Doctor suggestion I have applied THROMBOTAS on the given vaccination Site for 4times since moring.. is it safe? As I heared applying ointment on vaccination site wil reduce the efficiency of vaccine.. Is it true?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. its ok n a myth only.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.

Also you can apply ice pack on the vaccination site. As application of ice pack will also give you good results.
Consult with your paediatric for if paracetamol to be given.
