hello doctor, my baby girl turns 3 months for tmr & from today morning she is going for poop very oftenly in very little little quantity almost 5-6 times till now & poop was only once loose & watery in morning & other times it was bit normal but quite many times. pls advise.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. the minimum weight gain in one month should be more than 500 grams. also as the weight gain is normal so kindly do not worry and wait and watch for few more days

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. thanku sir, yes her growth is normal & actually she was with breastfeed as well as formula these days but from past 1 week we stopped formula since my milk was enough & 200gms increased in a week & also we got her vaccinated yesterday. so pls confirm this is normal & poop is not a problem.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. if the weight and growth of the child is proper and if you're giving only breastfeeding to the child then there is no need to worry about such stool pattern in the child but if you feel that it is not normal get a stool examination and also meet your doctor
