ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist3 years agoA. if you are formula feeding , green poop is normal.
breastfeeding baby will pass green , watery stools if he is not getting enough hind milk which is fat rich milk that comes at the end of the milk supply.
so baby should feed for longer duration at each breast.
Teething, weaning foods may cause this.
If watery , foul smelling consult paediatrician. .

mam,if a child is breastfed baby then it happen because of imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk.
so feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well.
make changes in your diet as it might be reaction to the food which you ate.
but if the problem remain same after this ,or if your child showing any discomfort like pain, irritability, mucus in stool etc then please visit your pediatrician.
